Toyota gets interesting
17:26 January 22, 2010
” I want to see Toyota build cars that are fun and exciting to drive”-says Akio Toyoda, the grand-son of Toyota’s founder, who became president of the family firm in June, 2009. And he pledges that Toyota should never build a boring car again. Like Bill Ford Toyota served an apprenticeship in all areas of the business, including e-commerce and online marketing, getting close to customers via the internet. And unlike many car company bosses, the 53-year-old is forthright about Toyota’s failings and passionate about car dynamics.
